Geothermal Heating and Cooling

Harness stable underground temperatures to provide heating, cooling, and hot water at remarkably high efficiencies. So high, in fact, that energy use can be cut by up to 80%. Geothermal heat pumps tap into the earth's surface to use the energy and consistent heat found in soil or surface water as a heat source, instead of using outside air like traditional heat pumps. During the heating cycle, a geothermal heat pump uses the earth loop to extract heat from the ground. As the system pulls heat from the loop it distributes it through a conventional duct system as warm air. The same heat energy can also be used for a radiant floor system or domestic hot water heating. In the cooling mode the process is reversed, creating cool, conditioned air throughout the home. Instead of extracting heat from the ground, heat is extracted from the air in your home and either moved back into the earth loop, or used to preheat the water in your hot water tank. Geothermal heating is also known as geoexchange, ground-water, ground-water assisted, ground-water-source, water-to-water, and water furnace heating and cooling. We install, service, repair, and replace any and all natural gas or LP gas heating systems and heat pumps. We feature systems from such industry icons as Bryant, Trane, Buderus, Triangle Tube, Daikin, and Peerless. All of our systems meet or exceed New York State energy efficiency requirements. We can install radiant heating systems in new or existing structures to provide a warmth that literally wraps itself around you. Keep warm while beautifying your home with one of our gas fireplaces. All residential work comes with a 2 year warranty on parts and labor, commercial work carries a 1 year warranty. Extended warranty and planned service contracts are also available.

Cooling

We install, service, and repair central air conditioning system, ductless air conditioning systems and heat pumps. Our ducts are made from insulated 24 gauge galvanized sheet metal with all joints sealed.
